But doesn't the industry sometimes present a screenwriter an award because they don't want to give him (WAIT? These are all MEN!) a director or other award, saving that for a more culturally popular person? What is your take on how Oscars ACTUALLY get awarded? I have one Oscar-nominated daughter (for editing), and I think she was ROBBED. But of course I would, right?
